Although I've gone to other facialists in Dallas, NYC, & Pittsburgh, my experience with Kristin is second to none! She provides honest feedback about what's going on with my skin and I trust her completely to shoot-me-straight on what needs to be done to address my hyperpigmentation and fine lines (i.e. Jessner's peel, IPL, or Micro). When I'm compliant w/ her treatment suggestions, I get compliments on my skin nearly everyday; when I fall off the wagon & miss appointments, no compliments. I needed my upper lip and chin done. If you haven’t done laser hair removal it takes about 6 sessions depending on your hair and skin type. I first want to let you know that there are a lot of laser hair removal places and specials out there and I am writing this to let you know there is a difference! The new you med spa’s laser hair removal starting price is VERY affordable! The procedure is quick and virtually painless, and the care at this med spa location is fantastic! If you are thinking of getting laser hair removal call for the base price first, THEN mention Citysearch for the half off special. Their pricing is VERY reasonable for laser hair removal or any other procedure without the discount! For chin and upper lip hair removal without the discount it’s $125.00 per session ( this is a very good price!) . If you are on a budget like me, you can buy the laser hair removal sessions one or two at a time, you only get laser hair removal done once a month, so FYI it is a long time period for any laser hair removal procedure to be complete. Call today, I see Kristin is a favorite, I think she is the one that did mine too. They are ALL very nice and very good AND the price for laser hair removal is right! She went the extra mile to explain how to get the most benefit from the treatment. She was VERY receptive to my personal "issues". Overall, a great treatment! 05/09/2008 Posted by dsm01 Recently, I visited Pure for a facial and a better understanding of Botox, etc. The aesthetician (Kristin) was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and explained many different procedures in detail. I am so excited to get Botox for the first time. It is Fabulous. She lifted my brows, turned the corners of my mouth up and I am very pleased! Thanks Pure!! She definitely knows her business! I received the Laser Genesis treatment and I have bad marks from acne scaring from teen years. The laser genesis at this med spa has made them less noticeable. This is not the first time I have gone to a med spa for laser genesis so I am unsure why The new You Med spa’s works better. It could be because she paid special attention to those areas specifically. Overall the experience was wonderful. They were accommodating for my schedule, the facility itself is immaculate, it’s inside of a regular spa called Pure Spa , so I was able to get a free steam and a pedi as well. What a great place! I have had bad and EXPENSIVE experiences at other med spas in Dallas, especially because of my very sensitive skin. No one ever took the time to completely understand my skin and make me feel comfortable with treatments and skin care. My skin looks better than ever. I'm a huge fan of Kristen's microderm treatments and Laser Genesis... it makes my skin look 10 years younger!! I still had acne scars and brown spots. Kristin introduce me to a new peel that they were now offering called the Jessners peel. I was skeptic about getting it done,but the results after a few days just blew my mind! My scars and brown spots had diminished almost completely!! My skin had never looked so clear and radiant and so amazing. Everyone was really impressed with my skin. I usually have to wear makeup to cover some spots and now I can walk out of my house without it, and that was what wanted to achieve with my skin and Kristin made it happen. If you want results, The New You Aesthetic is where you need to go. Results are guaranteed, I've seen it on me! Beauty is costly, but with the results I got, its worth every penny. Cons: none 04/22/2008 Posted by amberino I must admit, when I made my first appointment I was a little nervous since I had never had any major facial procedures before and also I had no known knowledge of the spa. Wow, when I walked in my apprehension was put to rest! It is a beautiful spa, clean and modern. Kristen is beautiful and I thought "she obviously knows and believes in what she is doing". Sure enough, she was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. I had microderm and she used a laser on my face that helps stimulate collagen. What was amazing was that I was able to go out to dinner that night and my friends commented on how radiant my face looked. I am now a believer! It keeps my large pores from being so visible and I glow! Not to be cheezy, but I love the show "The Real Housewives of OC" and always thought, "I bet they have the primo procedures/machines out in Cali," and the spa has the same procedures mentioned on the show! I have had this done in the past and really was impressed by her. My skin looked smooth and I had no down time. I went out to dinner that night and all of my friends commented on how soft my skin looked. I would definetly recommend stopping in and visiting with Kristin! I will definetly be back. I came in the other day for a microdermabraision and to consult on Pearl a new offering they have. The med spa is located inside of a full spa facility so you really have the best of BOTH worlds. You also have access to the Water room that is an amazing steam room in a very serene environment that will sooth your tired body after a hard days work for free ;) The microdermabraision esthetician was on time, very nice and very pretty. We chatted about my beauty goals, budget and what she felt was best considering that alto Pearl has AMAZING results, I may want to schedule it on a Thursday or when I can take a few days off since it is not a lunchtime procedure. Too bad since they are offering Pearl for $500 today. Yes $500.00! This is usually a $2000.00 procedure and is quite amazing. Once the microdermabraision was complete I was back in my office and did not miss a beat. Not only did I look better outside, I felt better inside for treating myself to a lunchtime beauty treatment. Kristin and Dr. Taylor are an amazing team. Kristin has done microdermabrasion and laser hair removal on me for several months now and I LOVE IT. I started out with a simple micro and before you know it, I am hooked. Kristin is completely professional, knowledgeable and just makes you feel like a new person when you walk out of there. She is very intelligent when it comes skin care and knows exactly what my face needs. She never tries to push anything on you but does suggest products that would benefit your skin the best. She will be up front and honest when telling you what you do or don't need. I was very nervous when it came to laser hair removal, but she explained everything very well and took it at my pace. I would recommend these services to anyone that wants a upscale spa with very reasonable prices. That being said not only have I found the prices to be more than reasonable, and didnt feel like additional services or products were pushed on me. I was very scared to do the laser hair removal and once I got over the initial fear of the unknown I was so pleased with my results! Also the botox was painless, quick, and gave me that mini eye brow lift without having to go under the knife. Friends of mine knew I hadnt had surgery but just werent sure what was different about me, but said it looked good. I cant recomend this enough to anyone that wants the class of an upscale spa with the prices you can afford and Kristen is just amazing. Her friendly face, knowldege of products and services were incredible!! She makes that spa, when I leave there I not only feel like I look better on the outside but she lifts you up on the inside as well! Its always a pleasant experience. As a 40 year old male, these impacted my self confidence in business and socially. I received some information about The New You Spa from a friend of mine. I only thought this type of service was for women. I made an appointment for the Pearl facial procedure. I was nervous when I got to the Spa. When I walked in and was greeted by Kristin, she put me at ease and explained the procedure. I was very comfortable. Dr. Taylor was great too. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do and talked to me throughout the very simple, but extremely effective process. I received a follow up call to check on me the next day. Today, I could not be happier with my experience and the results from Dr. Taylor! The Pearl evened out sun spots and made my skin smooth again. Well to make a long story short, I went to this spa and started receiving micro derms and Kirsten put me on some Obagi face wash. Well, its been 3 months and my face is clearer than ever. I have tried everything from proactive to prescription medication and nothing has worked half as good as going to this spa. If you have any acne or scarring at all, stop wasting your time and go see Kristen and Dr. Taylor!!! They clearly explained the procedures to me and always made sure I was completely comfortable at all times. I was really nervous at first as I was getting the laser hair removal and microdermabrasion.....but Kristen was so nice and thoroughly described each step before performing the treatments. She was quick, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about all of the processes including all of the "at home" products needed for post-treatments. I definitely will continue to go back especially since the results from my first session are already noticeable! Pros: Awesome results, outstanding service, and beautiful ambiance! Cons: Honestly, I had a wonderful experience! Nothing negative to report! |
